Do All Flat Screen Televisions Make People Look Distorted?
by admin

With the wide variety of flat screen televisions out there right now, it is understandable that there may be some confusion out there about resolution, specifically relating to how actors and scenes of shows are rendered. There are a lot of reasons why some people might look distorted or bent out of proportions on your flat screen television.

The most important thing to take into account if your picture is distorted is what kind of connections you are using. If you are using a simple A/V or coax cable to connect your expensive set into your cable box, there will likely be distortions. This is because your television has to blow the image up large enough to be presented onto the screen correctly. AV and coax cables do not allow the proper filtering to portray the image in the HD quality that the television requires to display a non-distorted image.

It is best to replace your old cable box or DVR system with one that has HDMI outputs. This will ensure that the image displayed on your screen is crystal-clear and free of distortion. It is also worth noting to make sure that you have HD service included in your cable package, because if you aren’t watching HD channels on that new set, you will likely see some blur and distortion.
